The century old famous luxury watch company Baume & Mercier launches a new Classima model, the Classima Jump Hour Limited Edition Watch. It is a time piece of pure elegancy. Let’s take a look.
The new Baume & Mercier Classima Jump Hour Limited Edition Watch features a round stainless tell case with a winding crown elegantly sitting at three o’clock of the case. The case is measured in 42.0 mm diameter. On the front of the case, a sapphire crystal face is protecting the round dial. It ensures a clear view of the dial. On the back of the case, there is also a sapphire crystal covering it, which enables one to see through the exquisite movement of the new Classima watch.
The dial of this Classima timepiece is imposing and elegant. It is crafted in silver with delicate “barleycorn” motif and some yellow gold touches of the indexes, the frame of the jumping hour window and the two hands. The jump hour display is located at 12 o’clock. It is contained in the large minute display which is indicated by a yellow gold off centered minute hand. At six o’clock showcases a smaller second display which is featured with a smaller second hand and intervening Arabic indexes and strip indexes. This layout of the dial is similar to the model from the William Baume collection and displays a pure elegancy.
Bringing all those functions to life is an ETA 2892-A2-based Dubois Depraz 14400 automatic movement. Its openworked oscillating weight could be seen through the sapphire crystal caseback. Also in vision is the brand’s trademark in the back.
A black alligator strap with triple folding buckle rounds off the elegant beauty of the Baume & Mercier Classima Jump Hour Limited Edition Watch.
The company of Baume & Mercier only launches 500 pieces for the watch and the price in the United States is $5230.
